§ 3-16. Rabies control.

It shall be the duty of the owner or harborer of any animal or practicing veterinarian to report to animal control and to the Texas Department of Health all suspected cases of rabies. The report shall be made immediately upon diagnosis or suspicion of rabies in animals. The animal control officers are designated as the local rabies control authority in the City of Terrell.
